Volunteer Opportunities

Encouraging students to be involved in their communities is very important to Harmony School of Nature.  In order to graduate from a Harmony High School, students must have 100 volunteer hours between their 9th grade and 12th grade years.  These hours must be logged in the Community Service Log and verified by a school counselor prior to graduation.  Below are examples of possible volunteer opportunities:

Libraries, such as the Betty Warmack Library in Grand Prairie are a great summertime volunteer opportunity.  Students can shelve books, read to younger patrons and gain experience doing clerical work!

Museums, such as the Perot Museum in Dallas offer many volunteer positions and is a great way to earn some hours!

Help those children less fortunate during the holidays by collecting toys and/or packing toys for a Merry Christmas morning!
